"Peguche is a small village located just north of Otavalo, Ecuador. Famed for textiles and the indigenous artisans who weave them, Peguche boasts a high standard of living for its residents. On September 13, 2011, we took a dusty hike from Otavalo and visited the Ñanda Mañachi Musician's Workshop. The family who created the shop handcrafts instruments and demonstrates them for visitors. They have toured and brought their Andean sound to many countries."
